What is a Schengen visa and how many countries does it cover?
It allows entry to 27 European countries with a single visa, for stays of up to 90 days within a 180-day period, including France, Italy, Spain, Switzerland, Austria, and others.
⚠️ Exception: Germany and the Netherlands — You cannot enter these countries directly with a visa from another country. Your first destination must be Germany or the Netherlands. What documents should you prepare?

An electronic travel authorization is required for all citizens of Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries (including Saudi Arabia) and citizens of visa-exempt countries to travel to the UK. It became mandatory on 25 February 2026.
What is its shelf life?
Two years from the date of issue or until the passport expires (whichever is earlier), with multiple entries, and allows stays of up to 6 months per visit.
